Today's session was conducted by guest lecturer, Miss Peggy. We had a fun time playing with the uni cubes and our group came up with the most number of toys! She also let us watch videos on how teachers conducted mathematics lessons and wanted us to comment on them. And the class came up with 5 areas that went well in the video.

And areas that could be improved on,

She also introduced to us on Mathematical Investigation.
- Activity that is divergent in nature
- Allow pupils to explore and experiment mathematical ideas and situations in many directions
- Allow pupils to demonstrate problem solving, thinking and communication skills
- Students can be assessed on their ability to describe, justify solutions
- Document the steps they have taken to arrive at their solutions.
And it is used to:
- Introduce a new topic
- Practise/consolidate a skill or concept
- Extend a topic
- Create an environment of Mathematics
It was an enriching session.
